Medieval Empires to Launch Genesis Commander Mint on August 8

Medieval Empires, an online strategy game set in a historically inspired, blockchain-powered world, has announced the release of a new NFT collection called Genesis Commander. This collection is designed to offer special abilities and traits within the game and will start minting on August 8, 2024.

Medieval Empires is built on the Polygon blockchain, using its Immutable zkEVM technology for enhanced speed and security. The gameplay involves players establishing their territories, constructing buildings, and raising armies. To win, players must strategically manage resources, forge alliances, and defeat their opponents in battle, using both the unique traits of their heroes and effective real-time strategy skills. Players can also trade in-game assets on the blockchain, adding an economic layer to the strategic gameplay.

Genesis Commander NFT Collection

The Genesis Commander collection will mint a total of 4,444 NFTs for free on August 8, 2024. This collection was specifically created to integrate with the game of the Medieval Empire. Each NFT in this collection grants the owner the ability to create heroes in the game with enhanced durability and unique traits that are not available to regular players. 

The minting process for the Genesis Commander collection is scheduled to occur in stages, starting with a whitelist stage where only pre-approved wallets can mint the NFTs. This will be followed by a public minting stage, where any player can mint the remaining NFTs until the supply is exhausted. The mint is free, with a limit of one NFT per wallet, emphasizing fair access and encouraging wide participation.

Owners of a Genesis Commander NFT will receive several in-game advantages:

• Hero Creation: These NFTs allow players to create powerful heroes with special traits, enhancing gameplay and strategic options.
• Multiplier Effects: NFT holders benefit from multipliers on the Medieval Empires Loyalty Platform, which can yield $MEE tokens and resource bundles. These tokens serve as the official utility currency within the game, allowing players to engage in various in-game activities like upgrading buildings, training troops, and participating in special events, which enhances the overall gaming experience.  The utility token of the game, $MEE, is listed on exchanges such as ByBit, Quickswap, and MEXC.

In addition to the advantages provided within the game, holders of the Genesis Commander NFTs have the opportunity to benefit from various reward programs. During the first week following the launch, the top 1,000 traders of these NFTs will be eligible to share a collective prize pool of 25,000 IMX tokens. Subsequently, in the second and third weeks, further incentives are offered: the top ten NFT holders will each receive 1,250 IMX tokens. Also, the next 90 top holders will share a pool of 12,500 IMX tokens among themselves.
